I finished my first knife Sunday and finished the sheath yesterday. I couldn't pe prouder! It's made from an old 12" saw blade. I sketched it out and then drew it on the saw blade. I cut it out with a dremal tool, then I clamped it down and hand filed the bevalls. I then sanded it smooth with a sanding disk on my drill. I bufed it with apollishing wheel on the drill. It has wallnut scales. If someone would post pics of it I would try to send them.

Great job - especially for a first attempt. ( pics are too large though, need to be downsized to max. 600 wide or they'll have to delete them - sorry, please don't shoot the messenger   :) )

I just want'd to say thanks to everyone for the help. I got all the information to build this knife from the gang. My son and I will be giving this knife to my Father inlaw this weekind. He was diagnosed with terminal cancer this last week.
