I'm up in Maine for a 5 day Bear hunt. I plan to post a short clip every day of what is going on.
This one is just a little practice before the hunt.

Very cool. I have hunted bear in Minnesota, with Bow- not very successfully however. Great idea videoing the phases of the hunt. I may try it as well this year-the video part anyway. I wore down on bear hunting last year. I had a bait site with good activity, one nice boar taken, and then nothing but an otter stealing my bait. Just concentrating on deer this year.

BUFF

Sorry I was so slow getting back. Both gun hunters shot a Bear last night. One was so excited he sent us west looking for it. It had went East. We were 2:00 am getting in.

As hard as it is to believe I had a small Bear hang out with me all afternoon and I didn't shoot it. I was glad when it got too dark to shoot as I was loosing my self control and the little Bear seemed to be about 10 pounds heavier every time it came back.
