After years of Hunting with Trad Gear I finally shot my first this morning. I shot it from 20 feet up at about 14 yards. It was a steep angle that penetrated just above the shoulder into the heart. It still ran 70 yards along the ridge and stumbled down the hill another 30 yards. I was using my Voodoo Kustom Longbow (62#) and Carbon Express 350's pointed with Simmons 160 Landsharks. Feels good when everything comes together! Thanks for letting me share the moment.
