Headed out about three o'clock on Sunday evening. Wanted to hunt big woods. Grabbed my gear and walked to wood line about 1 mile through a bean field. Set up just inside the tree line with my Lone Wolf Climber. Got Comfortable,cursed the chipmunks and watched the sun decend. All the while, wondering if I would even spot a deer this evening. About 6:00pm, he came out of no where....looked out in the field and there he stood. Couldnt believe my eyes....and I DIDNT even have my bow in hand. I quickly grabbed my bow off the hanger and squatted to clear a branch. As I completed my draw, he spotted me....too late....
He went down quick..made it about 30 yards and stumbled and fell over. COULDNT BELIEVE IT.Called my wife and she came out to take pics and help me walk my gear out. My buddy and I started dragging him out about 9pm. Took both of us to drag him out. Finally ended up at the truck at about 10:30pm .
