One Down in Ohio

I finally killed a buck in Ohio. I was climbing down out of my stand this morning and just happened to look over my shoulder and seen this guy chasing a doe. I hurried up and climbed back up and pulled up my bow. The buck was about 250 yards away so i gave him a few bleats with the can call followed by a few short grunts. The next time i saw him he was coming at about 40 yards. He kept coming and gave me a broadside shot at 5 yards and i made it count! :D The buck went about 70 yards and i seen him go down from my stand.

I'll be the first to admit that i severely misjudged this bucks size and may have gotten caught up in the moment. Not my biggest buck but i'm happy to get him.

This hunt was special to me as i had a couple trad gangers huntin with me in spirit. I shot this buck with an arrow givin to me by Mike Hall and I field dressed and skinned him with a knife made by ClintV! Thanks guys i couldn't have done it without ya.

Thanks guys! The bow is a Raven longbow made here localy. It's 60" 58#@28". I shot him with a 160gr snuffer. Made a big hole in him.
