My bunny was a gimme shot, i was on drive when i saw a lot of bunny sign. I looked up and saw sonny that's when i had a brain storm to have sonny go into the thick stuff instead of me kinda selfish of me. I called him over and for some reason he came, he was sniffing around and he took the low side i went high. I hadn't gone more than 15 feet and i spied the little bugger sitting in a hole in the snow i think he was watching sonny. Before when i saw a bunny i would yell out at the top of my lungs but this time greed set in and i wanted this one for myself. Without saying a word i drew back picked my spot and released, whack! a solid hit. Then i yelled i got one and followed up with a OOOOOOHHHHHHH YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I swear that i was as excited as i would be if i shot a huge buck what a feeling what a hunt. On the way back home at every little thing we would yell out OOOOOOHHHHHHH YEAHHHHHHHHHH! then laugh we had such a blast together.

I witnessed that whole thing Stone Knife, I was right up the hill from ya. Ya missed sonny sturtting back up the hill afterwards like he was saying " I am THE dog!" Of course....you were kinda struttin too....lmao.

I hear ya Joe.......I'm glad you took those pics and posted them.....Curt's arrow is something special....a decidedly pink theme, with a pinkish stain under the copperhead wrap, rally nice work.

I tell ya', that Sonny showed some of the most determination of any hunter there...and considering all the fine hunters on the hunt, that's really saying something...
