I'm getting stoked for this, i haven't seen 20 bunnies around here all year. I have been wanting to get together with swamp buck before the hunt but it keeps snowing around here. Jim, I work for the Highway dept. so I know what ya mean. Lots of bunnies around here. I only hunted that one peice and a hedgerow, we have to hunt those hedgerows this year as they are out in the open and should provide some good shooting. Saw Twenty Rabbits In Less Than An Hour?... :eek: ...Lets see now...20 per hour, times about five hours afield, with two days hunting equals...Oh My!...I Don't Have Enough Arrows!...Gotta Bring At Least TWO HUNDRED with me!... ...How to carry that many?...

If I put a shoulder strap on a 30 gallon garbage can it might work... ...Would be good for all the bunnies we get too!... :D ...

Just mount a 55 gal drum on a toboggan and drag that around with you. You will never run out then, and it will cut a nice trail for me to follow. Then as you go along yell bring out your dead, then we can all pile our bunnies on it. That will work out good for everyone.     . Here bunny, bunny, bunny.>>>---->

Shawn, Joe just stopped by and picked up my "stuff" to bring up.

For the "prize table" there are a bunch of wingnuts for making "WingNutters",a few packages of woodsman and snuffer broadheads,2 dozen pairs of leather gloves.Some of the guys have asked for a pair and being as you are the "HuntMaster" you My Friend are in charge of passing them out

Went out this afternoon. I saw five bunnies, heard a few more on the other side of some massive rose bushes.
On my way out, I suddenly hear this high pitched screaming. I start moving in the direction of the sound...come upon this huge grey hawk, which has a bunny. The hawk flew away, the bunny sat up and stood there for five seconds. I was amazed...so amazed I never thought to shoot the bunny. They were about three feet away. One of the coolest things I have ever seen in the woods.

Jamie!!! Now as you sit in your house eating dinner think of that poor hungry hawk whos' meal you've spoiled!!!...

Morning all...
Just wanted to share a story. My wife is a hair stylist, and during a haircut on a gentleman, somehow, they ended up talking about my new addiction...traditional bowhunting. Eventually the bunny hunt came up, and she did her best to explain what it is all about, as best she could.
When finished, the man paid and left. Ten minutes later, he was back. Said he had been thinking about what we were doing and it was a great cause.
Thought he would like to contribute so he gave my wife ten dollars to go towards the hunt/charity! Needless to say, it proves what Shawn started is a great thing and touches people in a good way.
That being said....glad to be a part of it. Figured it would help people smile a bit today...
