Howard looks pretty good up there, considering it is 3 years before his passing...   Nice bows.

Those Stotler nocks give great arrow flight, but I have trouble handling them when hunting. I notice that head has the back guards ground off or it is a very old head.

After a very long wait my Expedition "No Es Facil" has arrived. And it just so happens the arrows I ordered for it also arrived at the same time. Will post pics as soon as I get out of here (work).

Anyone have pictures of their arrows they made to look like Howard Hill's?
I made these white stumpers a while back that reminded me of his...(ignore the shield cuts).

My Dave Miller Expedition is under construction, should be completed by the end of April!  Dave sure is a super guy to speak with on the phone, very welling to share his knowledge.  I can't wait!  Pictures to follow when it arrives!

Joe, the last few weeks of waiting is tuff but you will have one of the finest longbows made today by a true master bowyer. David work is functional art and well worth the wait, I have a few Miller longbows and they are as good as it gets in a true custom longbow, David is a stickler on limb alignment and limb timing. Also the expedition with the CC/CV limb design with the carbon adds a few FPS to the quickness. I almost ordered one myself in 2011 but decided on the Hawk instead. Its the quickest bow I own. Ron.

Ron, I was so torn on which of Dave's two bows to order.  When I got on his waiting list until he actually got started I was up in the air.  The Hawk was so tempting but I went with the Expedition for longevity.  I don't think one could go wrong with any of Dave's bows.  Joe

I love it. It's old school meets new school. And it shoots as good as it looks!

Enjoy the journey!
