Moleman, did you ever figure out who built that bow? Looks a bit like a Dave Johnson.

Three RW 4" Shield

I'll shoot some CF in and see what happens.

I'm a lefty..... [/b]
Thank you Nate.

I hope you read this. You nailed the problem and the Magnus tipped Turkey Flight Traditional poplars (from magnus) fly just like the field tipped arrow. I shot a round with the BHs and arrows were hitting almost dead on to where I was looking, which is my normal. ( I wish they all hit WHERE I was looking ) Now if I can get a hog to get within 15 yards of me I think bacon will be cooking soon thereafter.

Thank you again Sir.

Centaur,
Is your Cheetah going to have a brass sleeve? I was wondering how they were going to do a dished grip.

centaur

Jason Ekin and I both made a mistake. I talked to him later and learned that the t/d has to have a straight grip, so that's what I'm getting.

Thanks,
I was hoping they were offering the carbon sleeve instead now where you might have different grip options.

moleman

Sporthunter, as of yet I have no clue as to who might have made the Ole girl, and since I know nothing but poundage and length, ive named her "Blind Date" , just seems kind of fitting.

Finished my season today.  This is my 3rd deer with the longbow but the first where the arrow went exactly where i was looking.  There are few things better than watching that.

I've had some catching up to do and got a good laugh at this one Eric!  Nice shot.  Right where you thought it went a few weeks ago!

I have to say guys, pretty cool, second year for Eric, third deer, one with a Wesley, two with Hill style bows he made himself.  He has been making pink basket quivers, leather back quivers, strings, arrows...very impressive entrance into traditional archery.

Congrats!!

Nate Steen .

Bud...glad it worked...arrows can kick off the bow sometimes due to feathers
hitting and we automatically attribute it to bad spine...much of the time it's not so...

We sometimes over think our bow tuning

Beautiful Schulz False Cast.  John Schulz was a true artisan.

Figured I would show off my collection.  This is a rack that I bought prior to Christmas not knowing that my girlfriend was having one custom made for me.  I will get a pic of that up at some point.  For now, here's the collection.

From top to bottom:
Howard Hill Archery "C-6000" (circa 1962)
Old Phartt's Archery (Dick Wightman) Custom Longbow(girlfriend's bow)
Howard Hill Archery "Sirocco" (Limited Edition)
David Miller "Expedition"
John Schulz American Longbow "Trophy Hunter"
John Lee "Chickadee" Custom Longbow
David Miller "Old Tom"
