I have two friends who had back surgery recently...One, my friends wife who has several medical challenges... she had spinal fusion and such then got the flu. Not allowed to bend, twist or lift and she's coughing like no tomorrow!  :(   She reports tremendous back pain as well...

Second is a fine younger gent whose family are close friends.  He blew out his back, let it go too long and after his fusion surgery, he was paralyzed waist down. He's in rehab and claiming to make progress hoping for what I call a "nerve storm" when his lower leg nerves start to transmit signals again but he knows it will mean horrific pain! but he'll be able to walk....

Her name is Maddie and he is Brian... Two people in different parts of my home state... Lord knows their names and the hairs on their heads but I covet prayers for them both.

Father, we lift up Maddie and Brian to you as their Great Physician and Creator and request your healing to their spinal and neural systems, returning them to full function. Ease their pain, and give them rest in you, in Jesus name we ask...

Sorry I haven'y been up to date for a few weeks on the Prayer Chain forum Doc. Our home pc is having a keyboard port issue but I will pray for both your friends and their back issues. I been there myself and still carry the hardware .
 I pray their pain will go away and heal quickly in Jesus name ...
On a laptop now that belongs to my wife but will try to get on here when I can Doc.
