Just finding out my accident prone uncle fell off a ladder today. He has broken bones all over. I am getting reports of broken ribs, pelvis and neck. I have not received any further update except he's in the hospital and in a lot of pain.

Do not follow where the path may lead.  Go, instead, where there is no path and leave a trail.

Back was fixed where broken. Neck fracture was minor, they will let heal.  Broken ribs, nothing they can do. Has to wear a shell for a couple months. Took a step backwards today and currently getting a blood transfusion. Doctors discovered osteoporosis, which caused the excessive bone breakage
Will be in ICU at least another day.

Been hearing of more and more awareness that older folks don't "fall and break a hip" but that the hip spontaneously snapped causing them to fall.  Osteoporosis is bad stuff...

Read where drinking a lot of carbonated "stuff" sucks calcium out of your bones like a sponge sucks up water...

Prayers Uncle will get on top the Osteoporosis and mend those bones!

Uncle is coming along nicely. If he can get into and out of bed and a car by Friday they will let him go home. Still a long road ahead.
