As many of you know I had a critical blood ailment a few weeks back.It was a life threatening low blood platelet count which led to internal bleeding.Steroids brought the count back up.Was taken off the steroids a week ago and the platelet count cratered again.Anything below 20,000 is considered critical and mine was 9,000 yesterday. On a high dosage of steroids again and see a specialist and bloodwork in the morning.

Memory isn't my strength these days as age robs it, but I'm sure that is what my Dad had...

I think it was his red or white count...

His they discerned was his Spleen, so they removed it and it worked... Then he had to get shots every few years to bolster his immune system w/out a spleen...

Then he had Pseudo Gout and they put him on Choclasceen (phonetic spelling) and it tanked again...then some research showed that drug affected the count so they took him off that.

Excellent news!  Unless it's kicking your butt, I'd take a few extra precautionary treatments, ... just because...  :)

God is Good, all the time...happy to hear it's going well for you!   :notworthy:
