A husband/wife pair of great young friends face a tough battle end of week.

She had pneumonia but kept the cough for a long while...in checking they finally noticed a spot on her lung...turned out to be cancer.  Never smoked or around smoking much.

She's due for surgery Friday.  Prognosis is good, but prayers are coveted for Tammy and Bill and their kids as she goes thru this tough task and time of recovery!
****************

Just got a call...the surgeon doing the lung surgery for the cancer spot, found something (?) on the gal's liver!

Now they did a MRI today on her liver and he's pushing it thru before he opens her to do the lung stuff...

More prayers asked... she's terrified and the waiting is the worst part!

Thanks ALL!

A wall of prayers on Friday would be swell. Hubby said she's a bit anxious, but otherwise good spirits.

No word last evening on anything more on the liver spot, but they had to be there at 7:00 this AM to admit her for lung surgery.

Thanks for prayers for them...and a positive outcome and long life.  Wonderful woman and family.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!

Got a call this evening from the hubby...

The liver issue was a shadow, so far nothing to consider.

The surgery went well, the middle lobe was toast so they had to resection that lung, but being young in a few months, she'll be back to kick boxing!  :)

WE're all tickled to death! Her hubby, family and boys are elated! He told me she's groggy but awake and cutting jokes.

Thanks prayer warriors for another job "well Done!"

Thank you Jesus!

Praise God, Indeed.  Checked again today and her hubby told me she's stilling up and back to her "old" self.

I suggested that women do NOT forget much, so it might be good to NOT refer to her "OLD" self or it might cost him when she feels healed!  :)

Thank you, Jesus!
