Tracy is now out of ICU!! He is hoping to be out of the hospital in a week. He is healing well but has a long recovery road ahead of him. He wants to thank everyone for the prayers and concerns. I personally want to thank everyone as well. He is one of my best friends and has become a brother to me. ThankYou!!!

But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

Tracy called today and sounded good. He has another surgery in a couple of weeks to put the bone plate back in his skull that they have removed so his head can swell. But for what he has gone through he is doing great!

Tracy is back in the hospital for a few days. Marla said he hasn't been eating and drinking right, has gotten himself a little weak. They are keeping him in the hospital to get him stronger for surgery on Monday, they will be replacing the skull flap then. I'm going to go up and pay him a visit tomorrow, he's in Lawrence. Charlie

Prayers continue for another good man.

While it sometimes seems those who lead us don't use their brains, it does control so much of us, but the HEART is the source of "NO QUIT"

Don't know tracy personally, but he seems to show himself to be the NO QUIT kind, so Lord willing, he will beat this!

Tracy called today after his last surgery and they put the skull plate back in his head and he is doing well.

Doc Nock

Excellent news, Mike.

Can you imagine the stuff they do to rebuild us today?  A plate! Amazing...

Thank you all for the prayers,It was touch and go for a while with a lot of complications but I was blessed with good doctors and nurses. I am doing well and starting all my therapy's. It has been quite an ordeal but I think I am one of the lucky ones and will come out of this deal with everything working ok. I hope to start shooting a bow in a couple months.

I agree Doc! I was very shocked when I woke up after the second surgery and they told me what they had done. When they put the skull plate back in the used 4 titanium plates and screws.

Thanks again   :wavey:

Looks like I missed this one. Praise God for a good report and prayers for continued healing and wisdom to do what's best for the long run.
