I am a newly wed and we just bought a house and she has a 3 year old daughter, and I am trying to make her happy but I just am not succeding. I am lost and becoming very depressed. Please pray for us. Thank you. UPDATE: NOV 6 She left me on sunday and has already filled for a disolussion. Please keep me and her daughter who just lost me and 2 grandparents she had grown very attached. I feel the worst for her. She is leaving me with the house to pay for myself, which I can do if I cut it super tight every month. Please just pray that even though it's already a horrible, that it doesn't get worse and that chloe is okay and forgets me so it doesn't hurt her.

But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

Many walls lean in and around us in times of change...

Keep communication open. Keep prayer lines open to Him.

We're tallest on our knees! Time is our friend when we trust in His will and timing!

Prayers for you both in this time of transitions.

Keep the Son in your eyes!

Well I'm an oldie wed of 32 years and we have 2 kids and 3 grandkids and a house and all I want to do is make her happy and I don't do too good sometimes. So this is what you get to look forward to. Marriage is the hardest thing you will ever do but it pays dividens that you won't get anywhere else. You have to keep the communications open and regular. You have to set your mind that you will make it work no matter what. I wish I could give you some inside track to how to keep her happy 24/7 but there ant one. Just remember to talk to our Heavenly Father daily and have her there to hear you do so.

Praying for you brother.  Glad you have the sense to ask for prayers.  Agreeing with Rookie.  It is tough.  You can do all things through Christ who gives you strength.
Be kind and merciful. Let no one ever come to you without coming away better and happier. -Mother Teresa

Thank you everyone,we have talked it out over the last few days and we are doing better, I am focusing on her and our daughter more and less on work and hunting/archery.  Thank you again. God bless all of you.

Balance...in all things in all ways...

Some call it Harmony. There is certainly the need for give and take...ON BOTH SIDES...

Glad to read that you're talking... lots of stressors coming out of a bad past situation.

Always make sure the issues at hand are of the "here and now" and not of past demons with others. That can be a real mine field!

Prayers will continue for you two to strengthen your bond with each other and with our Father!
