My thoughts and prayers for everybody affected by the tornado that ripped through the south yesterday. Stay safe and let us know if you need any help. Prayers from KS

And I said, "Here am I. Send me!".

But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

That storm cut a wide path and a long one up into the NE but nothing like what we hear down South...  :(

Prayers for all to be strengthened and held up to Him who gives Peace.

Thanks, snakebit. My son and daughter-in-law had a tree blown down on their house. She is from the town of Smithville, MS, where many people were killed. Last I heard it was 13 confirmed dead and 18 still missing, in a town of less than 800 people. The town is just flat gone. Fortunately her family was spared, but many of their friends were not.

One fellow I knew was killed when a tree blew down on his house. Another was killed when his pickup was tossed 500 feet off the highway. I spent much of the day in my storm shelter. Yesterday I drove through the area on business, and it was truly amazing. This area will be a long time recovering.

I traded a bow with Shawn Simpson from Tuscaloosa last year hope he's O.K.....

Over 200 hundred dead in Alabama. Over 400 still missing just in Tuscaloosa is what they said on the radio. Unbelievable destruction. We need those prayers!

Prayers for all the people in the path, we were spared one went just south of us and one went just north of us a few miles in both directions.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!

Prayers for those people affected.  My sister from VA was on as road trip with my nephew going to Clemson and Auburn to check out the campuses.  They got out just in time and got home safe.
