my grandpa was given some bad news on friday. he has congestive heart failure, that was no new news. he was told friday that his kidneys had more or less kicked the bucket, and that he probably wouldn't last a month. prayers are almost as much for me as they are for him.
thanks, eric

But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

Prayers for strength for Grandpa and all the family as he faces the inevitable we all will face.

PRayers too for you as you deal with this situation. May you know God's loving arms are around you.

The good news for believers is that parting on this realm is NOT the end. Sorrow is part of loss, but remember the Joy of salvation.

I pray that your grandpa is covered in the blood of Christ and has claimed the free gift of salvation thru his Son. If he is you just keep thinking about what he will see when he opens his eyes after exiting this life and body with all of its pain. I will pray for you as you come to grips with the thought of losing someone who means so much to you. I will also pray that He "God" will give you a peace about this whole thing. God's word says that for one of his children to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Pretty good company if you ask me. Thanks for asking me to do this thing for you and your family.
