Lord:
I want to ask for your mercies on all of the sick and afflicted. Thank you for all the blessings you give and help us to remember to not always cry to you about how big our life storms are but to have the faith to tell the storms how big you are. Asking in your name.

                                       Amen

But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

Good points all, George. Thank you for reminding us. Shame on me I've been doing more crying about circumstances of late when there is much for which to be grateful for amidst the continued trials and frustrations.

In many ways, I've been blessed and am a rich man for the true friends made here and all the subtle things God does daily and I don't always take time to be grateful.

Lord, thank you for the challenges so that I might learn patience, perseverance, develop character and build my faith knowing that in You, all is possible.

Be with all those who struggle with loss, health challenges, unemployment, heartache, addictions and all the challenges of daily life. Grant them peace that passes all understanding and help them know the depth of your love for each of us. Amen.
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!
