Tred Barta suffered a rare spinal stroke, just before traveling to Alaska to tape an episode for his show.  He is paralyzed from the chest down.  His brashness offends some, but he is genuine, and calls a spade a spade.  Well wishes and prayers for him.

Tred is a good guy who advocates many of the ideals that TradGang members believe in. It is sad to see someone who reveled in the outdoors to be striken with such a tragic illness. I too wish him well and will pray for him and his potential recovery.
