Learned today from Bob that his sister is to have surgery tomorrow to treat infection from a previous surgery around the brain / skull area. Please remember Debbie Walker in your prayers and uplift her. It's not known how bad until they go in I gather. Prayer works through the Lord's hands.

Prayers for Debbie Walker's surgery, a good prognosis and complete healing, according to His will. May the Holy Spirit cover them all in peace, love and grace through this tough time.

But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!

First, I'd like to thank all of you for your concerns and prayers.

Debbie had a tumor removed from behind her right eye in March. All was going well until Tuesday am when she woke with swelling and tenderness to the surgical site. After evaluation, it was determined that she had developed an infection. She was taken back into the OR at about 1pm yesterday. After about a 4 hour surgery and 2 hours in recovery, she was back in her room and doing fine. They removed the bone flap and will leave it out for about 6 months to allow the swelling in the brain to subside and for the  infection to be treated with IV anitbiotics. It appears that all went well and she was awake and alert this am.

Again, THANK YOU all for your continued prayers.

May God bless you!

Yes, Thank you, Jesus.

May things continue well... always a caution today about the infections possible in hospitals.

Prayers for continued healing and full recovery. Sounds like one more round of surgery to put the "bone flap" back later... prayers for all to continue well, according to His will.

Keep the Son in your eyes, Walker Clan!  :)
