Ok...I'm bustin a gut here...

I GOT THE JOB!!!     :clapper:

There just aren't enough moticons to do the job for how I feel!

It's been several weeks and many miles and long hours of phone interviews, corporate interviews and now plant site interviews...and today, I got the call: They made me an offer I couldn't refuse!

What a blessing! Everything else dried up that was working so along side this position...

I've said in my other posts about this position, that there were so many changes, challenges and bizarre time frames to this process, that the only way it would happen is if GOD wanted it! I would have screwed it up, but kept trusting..more than perhaps in my entire life, right from the point where I accepted I had to move farther than I had allowed previously, to use my education and skills!

I can't begin to express the convoluted contradictory emotions going on right now...    :biglaugh:

I was up at 4am yesterday, out by 5, airport by 6 and dind't interview till 12:30pm! By then, I was starting to shake... hunger, exhaustion, etc.

Got food, coffee, said a few more prayers and slapped on the tie and headed to the interview.

I just kept confessing to Him that I knew I couldn't do this..and if it happened, it was because He, Soverign Lord, willed it to be!!!

It went so well, I was fighting the urge to think I might have landed it... and then the call came late this AM and the offer was made.

thank you one and all for the many prayers, private emails, PM's, and prayers unknown for this to happen.

This site, and what Terry and his crew go through, both fiscally and energy wise, to make this place available..well, I just know that God knew what Terry was launching but I bet Terry never imagined the power this forum alone would have over these last years!

Lastly, if there are any of our readers here that hail from the Beaver County, PA area, I need some contacts and help to locate a place to rent for a year, then I'll decide where to buy...but need a place by 9/15 or earlier!    :)

PM if you're interested in networking with me through any friends/associates in that area!

Thank you, Jesus!    :)

But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

Thanks!!!  :scared:

I want to be really excited, and yet, there is just such an awed feeling that God would do this for li'l ole ME... Almost a feeling of being overwhelmed... this is so beyond what I could have hoped for... and yet, I know that He's brought me to a place where I am going to be called to live DAILY out of my comfort zone!

When God brings you to it, He will bring you through it!

There are now hurdles a plenty to negotiate...with packing, moving, find housing, etc, etc... oy.  :)  But...after this... whose to worry, right?  :)

Thank you all so much!!! For all the long trail of prayer and support... those I know and those who come here, read and pray silently and serve totally unknown. I've felt your prayers.

Congats brother it was the LORDS will for you to have this job.

Dave
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!

David,

Not to seem ungrateful for the strokes, but I know this was all God's doing... not me. I just showed up and trusted His guidance and kept my flappin yap shut much as possible!  :)

Now to do the same through this relocation process!  Ole PA Dutchmen learn slow...but I am learning!   :saywhat:

There sure is alot of air around a squirrel...eeyup.

Doc Nock

I guess Minuteman saw the other post that before I could even start...after being given every reason to be treated like a full employee for 4 weeks and all that goes with a cross-state move, the job was elminated! I've lost a bunch more than a job, but trying hard to get back to seeing the Hand of God in it all...

Just pretty terrifying right now with all the losses that go with this and all that I invested under false pretenses...  :(

Still praying for you and your situation, lifting you up during this trying time. Knowing God is in control and that he will use you for His good.
