I'm the kind of fellow that doesn't like to ask for much of anything but if you guys have room for a tiny prayer I would appreciate it. In May I found out that I had Cancer. We started treatments immediately. In June I found out that my position of the past 19 years was going to be outsourced to a private Company as of July 1st. Treatments have went well according to the Doctors. I'm a pretty good sized guy but have lost a little over 30 pounds without trying through this ordeal. Reports are that they think they got it or it went back into re-mission. My Wife works and I am going to draw some un-employment (haven't done that in 31 years). We will make it okay, we have one child still at home but he's okay with everything. Even though I am still pretty good sized, I have had to drop down in bow poundage. I'm now shooting #50 @ 28", keeping in the Spirit of things We decided I should compete in the Southern Iowa Triple Crown 3D shoots. I am happy to say that I pulled off 2nd place in the first leg and it looks like I will be in the top 3 of the 2nd leg. The final leg isn't until the end of August. I'm being very positive to the situation of my health and am not letting it slow down some of the things I love (especially my Family). I guess if I have a message over any of this it is, I never dreamed some bug or whatever could bring me down to my knee's but it did. been out a lot during July and just noticed this request.  I'll be lifting you and your family up in prayers.  Glad to hear that you'll be competing in the Triple Crown.  Congratulations on the second.  Boy, you sure could give me a pointer or two... notice I didn't turn my card in at the Ottumwa Ikes shoot?  there was a reason for that!  Let's get together to do some stumping before deer season starts.  But in the meantime I'll be praying for you bro!

Thanks everybody. As of today I have been officially declared clean. Whatever that means, I shower daily anyway. Anyhow my Spirits are lifted even more. By the way I was lucky and won the 2nd leg of the Triple Crown. Thanks again and take care. Court

P.S. Tim, we do need to get together for some stumpin when you can get away. All I could probably teach you about shooting is some bad habits.
