Hey guys this isn't my personal area of knowledge so I could use some help I'm converting a room to an "archery den" along with my bows I'd like to do a small( maybe 2 dozen) broadhead display what I'd like to do is stick to the common stuff available to regular guys from the local hardware or department store in the 50's and 60's. Besides the razor-head, dead-head, bodkin, what was on the shelves back then? I know that herters and browning made heads what were some of the other common easy to find heads from that time? The spiral browning head is probably going to be the most expensive head in this display if you get my drift(sorry I don't even remember the right name for the head). When I take my display to events some of the more common ones that guys ooh and aaah over the most are Dead Heads, Mohawks, Serpentines, the serrated Copperheads and Rippers, missile spikes and the big Ace heads. A lot of my more expensive and rare heads get little attention

Best thing to do is to make an informative broadhead display with text of the history of each broadhead or group of broadheads.

A well documented display will be self explanatory and far more interesting to the viewer than just row after row of broadheads.

Much of the text in the Fred Bear Display here also includes photos of Fred with World Record animals taken with specific broadheads. I also include patents and advertisements for some broadheads.

It is fun to make an interesting display. It is even more fun for the public to view an interesting, well documented, and informative broadhead display.
