I aquired a 1953 Bear Kodiak Magnum, 48 #, 52" long. It needed a new string and I'm inquiring to see if anyone knows the correct brace height.

Start at 8" and go up or down til sweet spot is found.
1953 is only a patent date.
The magnum was introduced in 1961 btw.
