I have a red stripe super kodiak, one of my friends has a blue stripe super kodiak.  I would like to have one of those blue stripers and he's open for a trade.  

Here is the skinny:

-my red stripe is a nice 8
-his blue stripe is a solid 9

BUT, his blue stripe has a "B" stamp.  Would this trade be even? I'm open to all opinions, especially regarding resale value.  Thank you.

Good trades are "in the eyes" of both parties.So is the future value.

Those are two very closely valued items, if you are happy and he is happy should be good to go.

Thanks for the replies, I think the values are pretty close, but I wanted more info.  I don't know how much of an impact that "B" letter has on resale value.

I don't think anyone really cares about the B stamp.

The B stamp, the star stamp or the 2 or 22 never bothered me at all.
This weekend, Hayslope came by and we did some bow trading and I showed him some of my Kodiak and super Kodiak collection bows and the 61 I retain in the permanent collection has the star stamp. I have another identical 61 that I showed him without a stamp on the block but I prefer the wood and condition of the bow with the star stamp. Just me.

I am with the majority. Would not shy away from stamp as a collector. Beuty is in the eyes of the beholder. Make the trade.
