I just bought a Bear Panda marked 1953 40# at 28" for less than $50.00. Was that a good deal?? My daughter needed a bigger bow so I bought this for her and plan on cleaning it up for her.

The Panda semi recurve dates 1959-61. The 1953 is the Canadian patent date present on all Bear bows 1953-mid 1972.

It's also marked 21553. Can someone give an approximate date on it?
