Has anyone else seen this?

I'm curious to see one. I hope they are nicely done and sell well.

finsky

Looks really sweet ! Love that they are bringing a leather grip back too !

Larry m

Like to see it come back in the 64" as well. Be interesting to look at one up close. If the quality is nice no doubt it will be a strong seller!!

Sal

Seems the market was really calling for its return, it's a smart move.

Thanks for posting this Brad; I got one on order!

PrimitiveSniper66

Have mine on order from Terry at the Footed Shaft should be here by Dec, called the factory they said 3 Rivers had a order in also if you need one right
away they will have them before most others.

Hobow

You're welcome Bjorn!  You wouldn't believe how badly I wanted to order one but it's not in the cards at the moment.

There are some amazing 1959 Kodiak replica's for similar money out there but the real appeal for me is that they are replicas of a Bear whereas this is a real Bear replica.

I heard that they won't ship until December or so.  I don't know how true that is but you guys lucky enough to order one please post pic's and reviews asap.

Thank you Bear Archery!

Brad

Bjorn

Brad when it arrives why don't we trade for your Gen 1?   :bigsmyl:

Hobow

I certainly have to give you credit for trying Bjorn!

I love my Gen 1!

Im just glad they listened to what people were telling them!!! I really didn't think this would happen!! Now that it has..let's hope that people will respond by making this a really good seller for them...! I have 2 repros of the 59' kodiak already, so I'll need one of these as well.....not a Grayling, but I respect the attempt.

I have one very similar to it that was made by my buddy Ed Holcombe.   I'll take it over a production bow any day of the week.

TRAP

To each his own I guess.  I'll take an "original" over a "copy" any day of the week, whether it was made in 1959 or 2012.

Yeah....my 2 are Holcomb repros of the 59'...but they are original "holcombs"..and I love them dearly.......

I had an opportunity to shoot one of these new 59 Kodiak's from Bear Archery.

The bow is amazing!!!!
The one I shot was 40# and its as fast as can be.
The quality is top shelf. Very well made and absolutely beautiful.
The leather grip is not bad at all.
It's a different grade of leather that we're used to but fine with me.

Bravo Bear Archery and Thank You!!!!

Mine should arrive any day. Really not too worried about the grip-I have replaced leather in a couple of original '59s so why not a new one?   :archer2:
