Still have some old bows to post but I got my new Bubinga B-handle yesterday. Got to shoot it today with my Schafer limbs on it and it shot very nice so I figured I would take it out for a hog hunt....

I have a story about that last pic here , that hog did not like getting shot , it wanted a little pay back , did not work out so well for it..........

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!

Wish I would have gotten bitten by this Bear TD bug long ago. A dream to shoot.  Hard to believe a wood riser could shoot any better, but I'm gonna have to find out.  For now I'll play with this one.

B Riser, 50# No1 Dymondwood limbs, rebuilt a 4 arrow leathertop and scrounged parts from another quiver with a crushed hood.

Early LH B-Riser on its way, can't wait to add my early Dimple limbs, new string to her and fling some arrows...with the Grayling Risers floating in the classifieds I figure this posting may get lively again....

Phil- Thought I posted this earlier but evidently I didn't hit the "Add Reply" button.
This is an awesome thread and looking at some of the pictures of your Signature bows and the MSJ bows really made my week!! Those are stunning bows,as are everyones risers. So nice to know that Fred's pride and joy is still making us trad guys as giddy as a school girl.LOL  :clapper:

I'm sure Fred liked most of the recurves that were built (with some notable exceptions), but the takedown was his pride and joy....and was certainly the one bow that he hunted with the most.

Those of us who own and shoot them can understand why!

Thanks John for posting some of yours......I do love those early B risers.
