A friend of mine has an old Bear he asked me to look at and I was wanting to get some information about it. It is a Super Kodiak with Fascor. Serial number is KL25087. Can someone tell me the year of manufacture, approximately how much they sold for, and how much it would be worth in todays market in excellent condition.
Thanks in advance,

Bill is right in that pics or a better description would help.

The SK of that era sold for about $100 and if you still had it new in the box and unfired, it would probably be worth close to $1000.  A used version in excellent condition, no holes drilled, and with straight limbs at a popular weight of 45-55# would most likely sell for $250-350 right now.

It is 60", 52lbs, and has black glass. Except for the piece of leather that someone glued on you couldn't even tell it's been shot. Very nice bow.

Looks to be a 76. The 75 is the same but would have a white overlay on the riser back instead of futurewood.

Those blue-stripers like that are plenty good shooters with a wonderful grip...and plenty fast too.  I sold an extra one I had last year for $275.

I bought over 20 super k's from Lamont before died, he said the 76 is hard to come by not many made, most people shooting bows with wheels in 76, I have one new never shot 76 and one 50# to hunt with one of the best super  k's its the one I take to the woods. curt
