Thought I'd share some pics of a little gem on my bow rack.

58" 1961 RWH signed by Bob (a few year back at Denton).  The bow has been refinished.

I just love the small tips on the older RWHs

Glad its got a great home Brian,
I got it from Ward, few yrs before sending it to Brian.
I think this bows also in a picture bd posted on tradgang as well. She is a nail drivin 61 RWH.. Refinished by Larry St Laurant.. That all I really remember.

This bow is one of my favorite aditions to my bow rack.  Great bow at the time it was made, still a great bow today.  RWHs are forgotten about by most, but they are little dandies.

Before Wing was aquired by Head Ski ('68 I think) they made some very fine shooting bows.  I think the bows after the sale of Wing were still pretty darn good for the most part.

Brian; The RWH was one of the Best hunting Recurves ever made !!! Back in the late 60's and early 70's it was the next fastest Bow to the Tice and Watts recurve,of all the Bows that the boys at T&W tested!
That is a real pretty one that you have!!

Have one just like that, belongs to my dad.  The bow is all original in near mint condition, including the original box.

Chad (Warberg) is correct that Bow was refinished by me shortly before Chad aguired it from Bow Doc. I had Bob sign it some where between 1998 and 2000 at Denton Hill

Great bow Brian -  Question for the experts- How can you tell how old a RWH is?  I was given a 58"48# bow with a ser # R-4844.  It does not have AMF on it and needs a string and a rest.  It has very nice grain in it and I can't wait to shoot it.  Not bad for a tagsale bow!
To be sure of hitting the target, shoot first and call whatever you hit the target

Wow, that's a beauty!  I've got a great, near-original condition '64 RWH that's a real looker, but it doesn't come close to yours!  We all talk about the Bears, but the early, narrow-tip Wings were something special!  I'm envious of yours!

Hit-or-Miss

That is one nice looking RWH! Almost too pretty to shoot!

Warberg

Hit or miss,,,u nailed it.  I tooked it to camp and ran a few ridges with it...worried the whole time about ruining it.. That jem can send some arrows...
The RWH Mr St Charles had on his wall in living room.  Thats the one I dream of seeing again. Its signed by Larry St Laurant(lesaint45), a guy Named Don Ward, and Glenn himself on the same side of the riser. Has anybody have it,seen it, or know if its in museum???

Bel007

FYI folks - there is a nice looking oldie listed for auction right now ... 180877944613
Not mine, nor do I know the seller.

I bought a RWH at Comptons that looks much like the one pictured above, serial #R-2838 and 46#. Has the tiny tips but not the square bottom decal. The only difference I see is the bottom of the riser where the belly glass ends is squared off instead of being nicely rounded. I'm wondering what year it might be.

What is something like this worth?  I know aesthetic values are more I am saying to buy.
