I think lots of bowyers were borrowin ideas from each other back in the 60s & certainly UK bowyers went to work in the US, as well UK retailers/suppliers bringing in US made bows, including most of those mentioned so far: Bear, Wing, Black Widow, Ben Pearson ....

Definitely not an early Black Widow.

It reminds me of lots of bows like Wing Presentation I, Bear Tamerlane, Dickie Roberts Fireball, Groves GS 300, USAC Archery. etc.

With no markings, not even poundage?, it is anyones guess then.

In the last month I have seen pictures of another bow that looks like this (with different woods) which was made by Derek Gunson from Yorkshire, England probably somewhere around '69-'71'ish.
I've heard of another bow by him & waiting for further pictures. These bows or similar were used by our UK, European & World field champions circa 1970+.
Derek himself was world field champ in Recurve class: 69, 70, 72 & 74.
The righthand bow in the picture was owned by Barbara Fielding who was ladies world field champ in Barebow class: 70,72,74,76 & a few more (but not necessarily with this bow).

Its a Dickie Roberts Fire-Ball--I have owned several of these bows...There was a takedown model & the one piece......I have some of Dickies proto type fireballs that he made in the early days.....

Its not!
It's a "Derek Gunson" from  Yorkshire, England.

I've compared with all kinds of other bows prior to my "eureka" moment 2 momths back & nothing comes close!
