Thought we would switch gears for bit.

Vintage (60's?) Woolrich Archer's Jacket
Green/Gray Wool Pullover with Leather Armguards

Pretty Unique.

Wow!  Now THAT'S pretty special!  I'd go far for an XL version of that! Good find!

very nice...got in into some vintage Pendleton form 60' and 70's

that still has many miles in it

Another neat find Nick! I'm like Kuch with some of the older Pendleton's. I do frequent the thrift stores and Antique lots looking for older wool shirts and coats but never seen anything like this one.

yellow bow

Blackhawk

NICE! But should it not have a quiver sewn to the back?  :goldtooth:

Lon, Not sure if you are serious or not, but I have only seen one other one and I don't believe it had a quiver on it either.

mullet

NICE! Great find, Nick. I just picked up a red plaid, Woolrich hunters jacket with the game pouch sewed into the back for $10 at the Flea Market.

Blackhawk

Nick...not really serious.  :knothead:

Someone posted pics of a vintage "archer's vest" that had a quiver sewn into the back.

I love that coat you have, even without a quiver.  ;)

Nick you forgot to mention the previous owner shot right handed!  I assume since you showed the built in arm guard section of the right arm and it was in great condition, the other sleeve wasn't in as good a condition. This, to me would indicate the hand he held the bow with was his left!

I wish I was a few minutes quicker finding that one.    ;)      :readit:

Great find!

Charlie, You are right! I was actually doing that to show that the left cuff was adjustable and the right was not!

Nick,
You snagged that one from me barely!

What a cool example of days past - when archery was still viewed in a way that had companies like Woolrich making clothing that was specifically for us archers!

Nobody could wear that and not feel the history of archery!

Terry,
 Woops, Sorry!

I agree with your statements completely!
