I recently purchased this Grizzly and have a couple of questions.  My first one is what year is it, serial number 18AE116 ('61?).

Do some of the coins turn black with age.  Can the coin be cleaned with an acetone fingernail polish remover safely?

The riser appears to be zebrawood with walnut to me, do you know if this is correct?

Thanks for the help.

1962 Pewter coin Here's a recent post about the pewter coins. By the way, you picked a great year for your first one!

Don't touch the coin. Leave as is.

Thanks Guys for the help and information.  I won't touch it.  It sure is a nice looking bow, it looks like I'll have to add a picture to the 50th  birthday thread.
