I was 12 and shooting a Yellow Bear Fiberglass recurve RH/LH and starting to figure out I was a left eye dominate RH kid .Picked up some awesome RH 62 Kodiak's that are treasured by a few of the guys listed above. I did get this lefty from the Al Reader collection.

Awesome!! Love the 59-62's but finding a good one is a hard thing to do. Maybe one of these day's. Very nice collection!

We were living in California, my Dad was in the Navy. We were watching Danial Boone and waiting on my Dad to get back from deployments in the south pacific. He did go on gun hunts in Utah about that time and we learned that mulies don't have white tails.  Archery was just starting for us as I remember getting a wooden bow that my Dad broke when he was checking it out. He fixed it with wire and some electrical tape but it never made the next family move. Archery had started in us. Coming Christmas's brought additional gear.  :)

I was 6yr old at the time and making and shooting self bows.  I didn't know they were self bows, I just took a branch and bent it and put a string on it.  My Dad got tired of putting new strings on my bows so he used some really thin aircraft cable for a string, problem solved.  Got a Ben Pearson fiberglass bow for my 8th birthday, have never looked back.

I wasn't born yet and I don't think my dad was either. Nice bows fellas!
