I just learned of a bow that is out there somewhere and I promised the former owner that I would try to locate it.

I am do not have all the information readily available but just the beginning and the end of the story may be enough.

The bow was purchased at the factory when Fred Bear reopened it after hours for someone who arrived late.

The last I know of the bow it was sold to Al Reader to "complete" his collection at the time.

Any information would be appreciated.

I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42

Even any information on where Al Reader's bows ended up would be helpful.

I have seen some of the bows on the auction site, and there was one Type II (1971-72) B-Riser already sold.

hay Dave I've have seen many of AL's bows listed you know where ????????? for auction bd

Thanks guys. I was kinda avoiding that auction site because of my bow buying addiction issues. Still since I bought 2 bows last week by other means I suppose it would not hurt to take a casual peek.

If you had some specific info about the bow, I do not see why you couldn't contact the seller and find out when or if they plan to sell it. That is, if he even still had it when he passed.
