A riser,#1 limbs 56",#2 limbs,58",#3 limbs,60"

B riser #1 limbs,60",#2 limbs 62",#3 limbs 64"

Thanks, that's what I was looking for.I was also wondering if Bear had draw length/bow length recommendations.I have read different charts from knowledgeable people that contradict one another.I dont have old catalogs to check if Bear even gave recommendations. Thanks

try a few combos and see what YOU like....some guys like the A riser and longer limbs or B riser and shorter limbs....etc. that's one of the nice options with the bear takedown.

The draw length comes into play on the real early bows, 40's-50's some were measured at 26 inches and some at 28 inches in the early days. There are ads that even said do not draw over 30 inches. But again that is in the 50's and early 60's and does not come into play on the later bows like the mag risers.

Actually I believe the C riser are.

#1 limbs 66"  #2 limbs 68" #3 limbs  70"

i thought we were talking takedowns, not  earlier bows with regards to the "draw length recommendations".

Thank you all for your replys on all my questions.I have alot of respect for your knowledge on collecting.I really enjoy learning about archery history and the design/workmanship that went into old bows.I was really interested about what wadde said about draw length not coming into play on later bows.I have a B riser with #1 limbs so that makes it a 60'' bow.I'm trying to give this bow to my cousin who has a 31'' draw and thought he might need #3 limbs?

JimB

Jack Shanks, you may very well be right on that.I was going strictly from memory and am definitely more familiar with the A's and B's.

I don't think Bear gave any recommendations as to length for various draw lengths.I use 56" for a 29" draw. You maybe right.Your cousin probably needs at least #2's.He should try it as is first.
