I would like to know what the value of a 1970 hit black ace? Its a 26#er 66" long with a walnut target handle and pearl inlay. Its currently owned by a lady that aplied the finish in 1970. Its been shot maybe 5 times. What would be a accurate value of this bow?

I have about a mid '60's modle.  Not as much mother of pearl but still a really nice bow in great condition.  I think I paid aboyt $250 + shipping a few years back.  It's hard to place a price on any bow, and the forum does not want us to do it here.  Any old bow is worth what someone will pay for it...no more, no less.  There are a lot of variable that will effect the price...Condition, rareness, and the general economy.  When I bought mine bows were bring a bit more maney than now, but the market is a bit softer now.

I know this does not help much but if the asking price is worth it to you, then the bow is worth that.

Sorry I could not shed more light on the value,

The most important part of your hunting setup is the broadhead.  The rest is just the delivery system.

My Black Ace has a boat load of Mother of Pearl. It's the sharpest looking Black Ace I have ever seen.... but yours sounds awfully nice... got pics?
