Hit-or-Miss

I'm looking for help in pin pointing the age of my "new" Howatt Hunter I just got. I can't post pics, but the numbers are HH5164. It has a straight light colored strip laminated into the riser, which is a darker reddish / brown (Bubinga or sheduah?).

It says #60 @ 28", but I swear it feels closer to #70! Much heavier than my Kodiak #60.

  Thanks in advance,

Chris,

It is either a 1965, 75, 85, 95 or 2005 model.  Based on the straight stripe, I would guess a 1985 model.  It is typical for them to pull a little heavier than advertised.

Well, I have a pic, but I'm afraid I can't figure out how to post it.
