I own Frank Scott"s personal Signature bow presented him for 42 years of service at Bear Archery. The # number is 42 and along with the bow photo of the presentation and news paper article...........I also have a list of the original owners and what problems were encountered with certain bows. There is a # 500 and a # 777 out there some where.........moose

Hey Moose.How ya doing.
I know about the sig. bow you speak of. I was in gainseville many times with Frank. He did treasure it and it looked great in that glass case. I have many photo's their with him.
This is a different bow with a great past.
I purchased the "handle" only from a fellow and showed it to Frank when he came up to NY.
This is where I learned of it's past by Frank. I'm gonna try and get the bow out and take some pics. I am not sure if it's #23 0r #28.
The rest is history.

Ok.
Here it is. This sig.bow was owned by Frank Scott for many years and I found the Handle thru my Bear Bow collecting years.Have documentation  on it also by Frank. The grain in the limbs is amazing and count those limb tip overlays, interesting to say the least. Previous post explains a little better. We must meet at Denton Hill to have a few beers and laughs on how I came to purchase this (lunchbox special) as Al Reader explained it's existence to me.
I also found some take downs and some amazing Kodiaks that I thought I sold and I forgot I had, really no joke. One particular Bear T/D bow I have will be in a new topic I will create as soon as I can gather all the documents I have for it. Very historical bow and I know you collector types would enjoy it.
Anyway, heres the pics.......Enjoy

The tips should have 4 layers of fiberglass ~  white, brown, white brown. Not 5! These mistakes happen at such a busy factory. I like the mistake!

The knife & file set signed by Frank scott was a gift and I also have it signed by Glenn St. Charles.
Always on my belt when bowhunting.

I just bought another one and I wait patiently by the window for the mailman!!!!
I am a sucker for #66 and in general conversation with a fellow trad gang member who mentions the serial #.
HE SHOULD NOT HAVE DONE THAT! Always costs me money to be so anal....LOL
I am very grateful to cacciatore. He's a Good Man.......Philip
