Yep its tapped for a stabilizer.

I've got one and I love it.   Strange, it's a pretty common bow but mine shoots like a lazer and hits hard.

Well done sir,I have 2 a greenie and a late 60's model one 48# and 0ne 56# the 48 was cheap and it really felt good,the 56 was bought from stic-shooter on here and has been in the stand with me for several years now I personally think they are Bears best kept non-secret,the only drawback I see is that now if I see another one I want I'll have more competition,ENJOY that bow.

The Good Thing is they can still be found at a fair price!

I recently aquired a 69' KH and I'll tell you, I'm impressed. It really easy to shoot and flings a fine arra. I had a Browning Safari II that was fun to shoot, but it's been hanging since I got this hunter. Got some 1916s that fly like darts. I'm gonna have to shoot a deer with this thing. Luv the high grip.

I also recently acquired a 1970 KH and I'm loving it.  It will be with me in the woods this fall, no doubt.

Mine will accompany me to Colorado this week. I have two KH's now. The other one is in a mans weight at 75lbs. It shoots like a dream but to heavy for me hunt elk with. I struggle with it a bit when I'm not warmed up. It has been a great bow to train with, my 60lb KH feels like a 45lb bow these days  

I have a 67 Kodiak Hunter.

I should put it up for sale but I love shooting and looking at it too much to bring myself too actually do it.

It's actually the fastest hardest hitting bow I own. I am not crazy about the high grip but it shoots where I need it to except a  tad to the right which is a tuning issue not the bow.

I have a '75 @50# Greenie that I purchased from Al Reader that is like it just came out of the box. So for a couple good reasons it is kind of special. Then I have a '70 @45# that is signed by Fred.

Now the great part is man can they motivate an arrow to get down range. If I closed my eyes I would think they were Kodiaks all day long.

So far this fall, my 1968 Kodiak Hunter (50#), has accounted for one Florida Hog, and a Maine Whitetail Doe on opening day. This old bow flings those Magnus 2 blade tipped carbons just fine! It hits where I look, hard and fast, as natural as a sharp left jab.
