It would depend on Condition and Weight. Really hard to say...$125-150...?

Trooper

It's not what you kill but how you hunt...

PAPALAPIN

Ditto  in top shape.  Reduce it according to condition.

The most important part of your hunting setup is the broadhead.  The rest is just the delivery system.

Jack Shanks

Jacobsladder,

Here's the bow in question. I think it is a pretty nice one and well worth what others have put the value at.

Also, Is the riser 1 piece of wood or two split down the middle? I can't tell from the pics.

Jack Shanks

Nick,

One piece of wood and the pictures don't really do it justice.

yellow bow

That's a real looker and like Doc said they are good shooters.

The Great Jashu

Buy it Steve. Jack is a good guy and will put a fair price on it.
No hunter should feel guilty for killing a deer that doesnt meet someone else's expectations.

Jack,
If you see one of those RH let me know.  Wow, that's a fine piece of wood.

I ditto The Great Jashu.  Jack is fine to work with you'll get what he says you'll get.

Are the tips primarily black as well?

Jack Shanks

Colin,

The tips are black as well. I do have a right hand 69 Kodiak Hunter but not nearly as pretty as this one.

Jashu,

Actually, I saw Steve's post after I had purchased the bow and just put two and two together. I have a good friend that is a lefty and he ends up with all the best left hand bows I have. I just find them and then store them for him. Just like the mint condition left hand 59 Kodiak Special I bought last week that I made the mistake of mentioning to him. I'm either going to need to start shooting left handed or quit telling him about them. LOL

Jack, my dad gave me a New 68 hunter, 45# when I got home from the Marines in 69.  That is a great shooting bow.

Jack Shanks

Jon,

I have a 68 Kodiak Hunter as well and three 67s down from five.

That there is a $300 bow in a lefty but it is often pretty difficult to turn a lefty. Jim

Keefer

Really nice one for a 69 and I myself have one but green limbs and rt. hand...I would say $300.00 is worth it due to the Black Limbs...I have a Grizzly with wood like that and black limbs hanging in my shop....
