I wish Fred was still around. I was to young to even think about meeting him before his passing. Used to go to a bow hunters club in Milford,CT weekly to shoot with my father as a child. It's funny that I don't remember the mention of Fred Bear though I owned one. I do know that it was the only club you had to use broadheads in competition. To bad the club died and woods got turned into condos. Moved to Vermont in 86, and very glad we did now. I just had to reminisce ;o)

Nothing like seeing Mike and Sue's collection in person though. They have it in a small room upstairs just chocked full of all kinds of archery memorabilia, not just Bear stuff but all archery related things.
