I was given a longbow with a joint failure between the accent strip and the grip build-up on the belly side. I want to inject CA and clamp to try to save the bow. My question is: where do you guys get syringes that will work with CA and how do you get the glue into the syringe before it sets up?
We are all here because we are not all there.

Can't help with a source but the glue will not set up in the syringe.  Just don't dilly dally with it when you load it.

I don't know about the setting up, as it just doesn't-don't know how it works.  I use Loctite 420 (the real thin watery stuff).  I don't know if the thicker on the shelf stuff would work with a syringe.

As far as the syringes go, I use Insulin syringes that diabetics use.  I have a friend who gave me a few.

Check with your local pharmacy and make sure you tell them what you want to use them for.  My wife is a Pharmacy Tech and got me mine.  She said that most pharmacies won't sell syringes without a prescription, but you might be able to find a nice Pharmacist who will help you out.
