From back of shelf to string I'm shooting about 8". Does this brace sound good or am I to high? Thanks.........IJ

I have a 68 & 69 & 70 and there 8" to 8 1/4.from string to deepest part of grip.

I measured my string it's 52"s. I'm going to get a 53" made up............IJ
