I had some bows stolen from me; and managed to get them back. One had been painted with spray paint; and a quiver glued to the upper and lower limbs.
I checked it out for soundness - and its ok physically - but how do I go about taking off the paint; the glue; without damaging the bow?
Can I sand it down ( its a bear kodiak recurve) including the fiberglass- and refinish it ?
And just what would I use to refinish it?

Should I leave the logos and poundage information on it - or will that have to come off in the restoration ?

Its good to have it and the other bows back- but man - what a mess !

Hep me Hep mee

yes you should be able to sand the whole bow clean and then you can apply Brichwood & Casey tru oil gunstock finish to both the fiberglass and wood. For the silk screens you can sand around them and clean them up but I think they look way better if you replace them with new dry transfers keep us posted on how its going bd
