Here is a bow that has no ID.. No Ser # and or any thing wrote on it at all.. It's looks to have maybe old Bear glass on the back and white glass on the belly.. Neat old bow...

Rich is correct on th Coe bow but I think it is the Paragon as seen on page 52 of Cliff's book , if you look at the Deerfield it has a much bigger riser.
That last one looks like an early version of the Coe Super 57???

Ted Fry

Sorry Rich meant to say doing good and thanks for asking , loved your comment on the other thread that you drink Smooth on.
Good one bud

Here is a ELB.. As of how old I don't have a clue.. As this bow has no horn nocks...Would make me think it's not very old maybe made after the 1970's ????

Cody,
Re:The other "no ID" bow after the Coe.

It does look a bit like a Coe, but it also resembles a Cravotta Bros (Blackhawk) bow....saw a lot of their bows growing up here in sw PA.  The faux-leather wrapped grip looks like theirs.  Also, is the handle/grip a bit offset(angled)?  That's something they did in the late 50's early 60's.

It is LH, so I'm interested should you ever decide to part w/ it    :D

Looks like a Black Hawk Chief.I had one a few years ago.Like Yule said late 50's early 60's.

Hello Yule, I think I have a Black Hawk Catalog some where... I go and find it.... Also Yule, I still don't know what bows to sell and what bows not to sell... I would like to sell a few to save up for a new custom bow and or the bow I all ways wanted one of the Bear T/D... If I decide to part with it.. I will let you know...

Yule is correct it does look like a Crovatta bros grip, just not sure because of the nice piece of rosewood overlay on the grip. But he probably knows more about Cravotta bros being from that area. Cody that last one is older than you think , most likely 40ish , hard to tell from the pic but it looks like hickory with a nice example of a cordage grip.

Yule08

The rosewood overlay is a bit off-putting....a bit of owner customizing?? Might take a good look at the seam w/ a magnifying lens Cody and see if there's an "amateurish" glue line perhaps?  I still think it's a Blackhawk. especially if the grip has the angle/cant to it....does it?

Cody Roiter

Yule... I took a good look at it and the rosewood overlay.. I can't see any "amateurish" glue line... Is there any other way of telling it could have been made by Blackhawk ???..

Cody--looking at your 3rd of the bow (bow upright, back-glass facing viewer) the grip appears to have an offset/cant to it-- Blackhawk did do this, not sure if any other manufacturers from that era did it.  Other than that, and w/out full set of catalogs it's difficult to tell.  They pretty much used decals and stickers for bow ID's so those get lost easy.
