Howard Clark was one of the best known old time manufacturers of bow strings. He advertised in several national publications. He made Flemish Splice as well as Double Loop bow stings. For the Clark string that I have found, Flemish Spice are usually in pink packages and Double Loop are usually in blue packages. I believe he passed away in 2003.

This is one of Clark's dealer display boxes that was made for Flemish Strings but has many types of strings in it now. Eight or Ten of the string packages would fit in each of the 8 individual compartments. It is roughly 10" x 14" x 3.5".

Spin Twist was another old time bow string manufacturing company located in Jackson, Michigan. I've only seen old Flemish Splice String in Spin Twist packages. Don't know if Clark had any association with Spin Twist or not.
