So far i have bought a 69 super kodiak,67 kodiak hunter and a 73 super kodiak. My question is what are some of the good hunting bows that i should be searching for. Any suggestions would really be appreciated. I am only interested in bear bows, thanks.

Well that's a great start! What I have done is base my collection around me and my wife's birth year. 1967 has several firsts and one last bow in the series. I also focus on hunting bows.

As too which hunting bears are good, well they are all excellent bows that fit best in different applications. For example I hunt with a 60" Kodiak hunter when chasing game on the north slope. The extra stability and accuracy of the longer limbs makes the long shots necessary on the tundra more doable. On the other hand I use a 50" Kodiak magnum for ducks, kinda hard too shoot a longish bow while kneeling in a canoe.
Just this Alaskan's opinion

I would say for a beginner you are doing quite well.Joe,Any of the Bear bows are very collectible. As far as shooters I would say the Kodiak line are the top of the list in collecibles & shooting.Takedowns are also awsome shooters & very desireable.
