Time is a great teacher, but unfortunately it kills all its pupils.

Not really for sure I have had them for about 15 yrs. The guy I bought out just told me not to use them that they had been discontinued and that they where collectors. I'll have to ask him how long he had them

Those are Björn Nocks - from Sweden.  Since 1984 I used them red-yellow marbeled ones on any of my arrows - until I ran out of stock and couldnt get them any more  :(

The colors were called Spring (green-yellow), Autumn (red-yellow) and Winter (blue-white). They should show a "B" molded to one side and have a nice tiny index in the posterior part.

It's to late now but maybe I have a pic or two tomorrow!?

some of my old arrows from the 1980's

I switched to ruby red since the Autumn color vanished. But its getting harder to find any color Björn nock nowadays.

... the very last of the breed  :(

Those are some super cool nocks! Nobody makes anything like that anymore? Those red and orange ones are BAD (means good...my kids tell me!)

Eddie,
I dont recall any other marbled color but there may have been a black/white and a brown/grey?! I wasnt able to find them in my old catalogs from the 1990's at all. Older ones had them pictured, I am sure, but those cataloges I gave away to interested fellows back then. Never thought I might want to keep them - for later collecting purpose. I was so dumb  :readit:

The marbled Björn nocks are gone since about 1995 I guess. But Björn nocks also came in different solid and transparent colors of course. They can still be found here and there. I am not sure if Bengtson actually had quit production. A while ago I was told they just can not produce enough, thats why they are somehow hard to get!? There are fakes out there too, which some shops dont mind selling as "Björn nocks" - when they should say "Björn style" at least

If you guys really like these and can't find the older ones well you are in luck...Go to Kustom King and search for thier nocks...The Bear Paw  nocks are very nice and not super big...The locator is very small on these and get this they are called " Taditional Barred" ..and only $1.05 a dozen...I got some of the green barred for Christmas and love them...They come in 5/16 and 11/32 in Red Barred, Green Barred and Gray Barred....Check them out...God Bless,  Keefers<")))><
