LH 59 Kodiak Ownership?

Here's one I got a few years ago.It's a whopping 123#.Looks like a 2X4.Bottom bow in the first picture next to a 90# 1960 Kodiak r.h.:

John - Do your wedge sight window 1959 and 1960 Kodiaks both have I-Beam Risers?

My heavy weight wedge sight window 1959 and 1960 Kodiaks both have I-Beam Risers.

However, my heavy weight wedge sight window 1961 and 1962 Kodiaks both have Solid Wood Risers. This seems a little odd because the I-Beam was still being used in Kodiaks in 1961 and 1962.
